At 1135 hours on September 27, Tanker 30 was alerted to respond to the 1900 Block of Stiegel Pike in Heidelberg Township as part of the first alarm barn fire assignment. Station 35 units arrived with a working fire in a storage building, and a pile of hay on fire aside of it. Tanker 30 responded within minutes and arrived to assist with the water shuttle to help with extinguishment. The Tanker returned to quarters in approximately one hour.
